This nimble very handy 4 door design from Japan was a strong seller in Australia. Local assembly was undertaken in Victoria at Clayton and in New Zealand. Buyers could choose either a 4 speed manual or 3 speed auto transmission hooked to a 1770 cc engine. Production started in 1972 and continued until 1976
