After a lot of success with the Ford Mustang in the Touring Car Masters, John Bowe was up for a new challenge with the LX SLR5000. Although not as powerful as the Mustang, it was lighter & more nimble. On its first weekend of racing John Bowe had immediate success & eventually more TCM Championships were achieved with the muscle sedan.
