In 1962 the first Falcon was upgraded with improved front suspension and better brakes. The XL was marketed under the slogan ‘Trim, Taut, Terrific’ and featured a more contemporary forward-thrusting grille, with indicators now housed in the bumper. The XL also boasted a wider model range, with three sedan variants, three wagons, two utilities and two panel vans. The XL commercial range came in a limited choice of colours. Just 37 XL commercials were ordered in Waratah Rad, making this one of the rarest colours for the XL Panel Van – all the more reason to make sure this one is added to your fleet of commercial vehicles.
