EJ Premier Sedan – Carlsbad Black

Released July 1962.

Firsts were many for Holden as the EJ was the first Premier and introduced leather bucket seats, centre console, metallic paint and a host of other luxury inclusions. It also represented a car for the new era with an absence of fins and the Hydra -Matic 3 speed automatic as standard. There were 154,811 EJ’s produced including the 1,000,000th Holden which was a Premier that rolled of the production line on 26th October 1962.
