The London to Sydney Marathon was perhaps the toughest motoring event in the world in this era. In 1968 three Falcon GT’s were entered with this entry driven by Ian Vaughan finishing third. To celebrate the 25th anniversary of the event the same car and driver completed the trip again in 1993 to finish second. What an achievement!
