Replacing the famous HR ‘X2’ twin carb model from June 1967, the 186S sported a single twin barrel carburettor, yet still maintained the 145bhp from the X2, which was a full 19hp over the standard 186 engine.  The 186S was available in  either a 4-speed floor shift manual or a column shift 2-speed Powerglide auto and could allegedly reach a top speed of 98mph. 

This Trax 186S release is finished in the original sixties two-tone colours of Kurrewa Blue with a Glacier White roof.  The bench seats and interior are beautifully finished in the two-tone combination of Dover Blue and Calais Blue.
